Poor product... Way over priced...Lieing Sales person.
Didn’t follow through on agreement
Bad awful meat
Forced to buy meat.
Very Very Bad Meat
I purchased $190.92 of steaks on March 3, 2017, mostly beef tenderloin (fillet mignon) and some rib eye. The steaks looked clean and well packaged, about 4 oz.
per unit. I cooked them in the bbq for a party I had in my house. The results was a meat so hard that even cut it with a steak knife was difficult and I had to throw all the steaks in the garbage can and order steaks from a nearby restaurant. Discussing the problem with my guests and how I went about buying the meat I found out that a neighbor of one of my guests had a similar experience.
I tried to contact the company but never received a return call. Luis Gonzalez Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70816

*** job
I'm visiting an RV Park in Portland when James Thompson came to my door saying he delivers meat from Lone Star Steaks of Texas. He showed me his product and assured me that it's all grass fed and high quality.
I bought it and wrot him a check for $249. After he left I got suspicious when I noticed he hadn't written his number on the booklet as he said he would and nowhere on the brochure does it say "grassfed". I googled and found this page of complaints and immediately called my bank to stop payment on the check.
He had already cashed it only minutes before. I haven't tasted the meat yet but it's going to leave a bad taste in my mouth.
No return phone call by seller, Luke
I would rather eat cowhide
Tough, gristly meat. Very bad quality. Misleading sales people.
Man told us he just sold our neighbor 4 doors down a bunch of steaks for a party and he had some steaks left; would we like to take a look? I thought for the price that I could go for it.
($200.00) for 6 boxes filet mignons, rib eyes, porterhouse (which I later learned were pork). Tried the rib eyes and filet mignons right away on the pit. The filet mignon I could swear was pork, and the rib eye was so thin that when I tried to flip it it was so thin it almost fell through the grill into the coals since it stripped itself from its gristle.
Flavor of ribeye was ok, but tough and very, very gristly, and most of it I had to spit back out on my plate! Trying to get my money back, but the guy will not respond to me!

Lonestar Meats Meat Review
Great meat! LOVE the maple bacon, the prices are great...
After buying the meat and before cooking, was curious about the company and checked the reviews online. Sheshhhhh, I was ready to lose 150 dollars because most were terrible, anyway, build up courage and cook some of the pieces thinking that y husband -a picky eater- would start chewing with "that face" wives know when some is gross...
and wow, surprise, the meat was GREAT, tender and no fat almost, so tried other of the things we bought from the nice guy that sold us the meat -he has a tiny dog and I can't remember the salesman name, but he is super cool- and I'm crazy trying to know How to Contact Him again!!! I wish he will pass by so I can have at least a phone number to start ordering meats and breakfast sausages, I so regret I didn't ask!!! I'm almost a 100% carnivorous and I Love steaks and if has not red meat is not food to me, so, I Know.
I was not disappointed at all, so if the guy that sold us the meat -Northwest Houston, the bodybuilders family- Please, pass by and then, leave us a phone number to ask for more. Tried the web but has not that fantastic bacon you sold us!!!
- Clean and neat
- Great breakfast sausages and patties
- Amazing maple bacon
